Til vores Ladies: Meet – Female Foodies, i morgen, tirsdag d. 30. har vi været så heldige at få Cindie Christiansen fra Foods of Copenhagen til også at komme og her svarer hun på tre hurtige pre-event spørgsmål:
1. Hvordan gør man karriere indenfor foodie-verdenen?
By making sure you bring something new to the table and is able to differentiate your business. That does not mean you need to re-invent the wheel, but make sure you know what your stand for and what you are bringing to the market.
Also, passion is everything, when you need to put in all your time, thoughts and effort.
2. Hvad er dit bedste råd til andre, som gerne vil prøve sig som kvindelig køkken-iværksætter?
Tell people about your idea, and ask the right people for their opinion and advise. Find a mentor you find inspiring and you can talk to about challenges and development. He/she does not need to be in the same industry as you. Jesper Bergstøm is a guy I find very inspiring. Also, collaborate with other passionate foodie people as it will give you a lot of energy and new ideas.
3. Hvordan kan man skille sig ud fra alle de andre og skabe sig et brand indenfor foodie-verdenen?
Remember that you are your brand, which is something no competitor can copy or sell. So differentiate your business by allow your personality to come through in the way you serve you guests and built your business.
Make your business unique and differentiate yourself when it comes to your design, the people in your company, the service model or maybe in technical expertise.
